Podcasts are the next big thing. It has been reported that podcast listeners spend more than six hours per week tuned in to podcasts. This is not surprising at all — what do you do when you are working from home with your earplugs tugged in, or when you are cooking your favorite meal or before you go to sleep? Most likely, listening to podcasts!

Podcasts are easy to access and offer the flexibility to multitask. And in a world where you are constantly doing something or another , what else do you need to consume your favorite content? So much so, that last year even Netflix tried its hand at podcasts. As they say, everyone and everyone’s roommate is doing a podcast! 😉

But in a sea of podcasts available across different genres, how do you choose the most relevant one? It’s a challenge for sure.

If tech podcasts are your thing, here are five that we think you should listen to in 2020.

Accidental Tech Podcast

If you are a diehard techie then this is THE podcast for you. What makes it so special? Like so many technologies, this show was accidentally created while the hosts were intending to make a car show.

The three hosts — Marco Arment, Casey Liss, and John Siracusa — are developers and it’s a treat to hear them discuss all things tech, Apple, programming, and loosely related matters. Tune in if you want to know about everything tech – programming languages, tech products and tools, the latest news, or maybe Elon Musk. Check it out here.

Analog(ue)

For all you  techies looking for stories and the human side of  technology this is the podcast for  you. As they describe themselves ‘Analog(ue) is a show about how tech devices make us feel and how they change our lives for the better, but also for the worse.’ With a belief that there is a space between zero and one, this podcast is surely different and stands out in their genre.

If you like to go beyond the usual product reviews and explore how these products can be integrated in your daily life, then subscribe to Analog(ue).

Clockwise

If you have a short attention span, then this podcast is for you. Each  podcast is  under 30 minutes and  the two hosts — Dan Moren and Mikah Sargent —  speak with two industry experts on four tech topics. The promise is that no episode is longer than 30 minutes.

If you are a  techie who likes to stay updated but can’t spend a lot of time, then this podcast is for you. Check it out here.
